This coming Thanksgiving Break, Malaysian Islamic Study Group of U.S.A. and Canada (MISG) in collaboration with MASA will be organizing Islamic Fall Retreat (IFR). The purpose of IFR is to give some tips on how to survive as a student in the U.S.It is a platform to introduce MISG to the Pennstaters, especially the newcomers. Here are the details of the program:

Theme: Surviving in Academic World - The Making of Contemporary Professional Mukmin Generation

Date: November 30, 2008 (Sunday)

Time: 10 a.m. - 1.00 p.m.

Venue: Heritage Hall, HUB

Speakers: 1. Brother Mazen (Engineer at AT&T)

2. MISG Representative

All students are welcome to attend the program. We hope to see a lot of people there, especially the newcomers who might not familiar with MISG yet. Plus, it's free and breakfast will also be provided before the event. Please contact Khalil (wankhalil@psu.edu) if you have any question.
